I have read through many posts and could not find the answer I was looking for, how much will it cost in American dollars to fund a fiance visa and a marriage visa listed separately?
I am new to all of this and have read for many hours from Jim's list and from "How to detect a scam" from the RD site. I am grateful yet spite all of these horrible events that happen to many men and women while looking for true love, I still feel driven to find a FSU friend, lover and wife.

Is it best to exchange a few emails/letters and a hold a few web-cam calls then visit her in her own country? Is it best to marry her in her own country? I have read it is best to marry her in her own country.
I am just looking for some guidance in this maze of deceit and love.

The advice you seek cannot be condensed into a single forum post really!

Your costs will go far beyond K1 and spouse visas. You are nowhere near that stage yet.

Think of it like this: If you lived in CA, and met a woman from NY online, would you be investigating marriage just yet? No, of course not. You would get to know her over the phone first, and visit her many many times and try to build a relationship. Same with a Russian woman.
