Note: The city described is Zaporozhye, not Berdyansk. There is no 17-kilomers long street in Berdyansk because Berdyansk is rather small. Also the reference to Chortica island points clearly to Zaporozhje

After this letter I clearly told this lady for the third time I would not go to Zaporozhye and suggested another city in Ukraine. Two days later I received the following letter:

In my opinion the lady wanted to force me to go to Zaporozhye where she would rent an appartment for our meeting (I have her letter about this). She said she had no Ukrainian international passport and that it costed 400 USD. In reality such passport costs 35 USD (170 UAH).

After this letter I noticed that her profile is still available at EM:

Since she says she has to stop the relationship because she has found a man with whom she seriously plans to have a family, then why doesn't she stop her profile?

I informed EM about this and they only asked if the lady asked for money for passport. She did not, but she asked at the very beginning of our correspondance if I could help her with paying 430 USD to buy airplane tickets so that she could come by plane to our meeting.

During our correspondance I noticed the following:

- The Bat! was used

- Sometimes I called her at 21 h (Ukrainian time) and she said she was tired and in her bed already. Then at 23 h I received an e-mail that she wrote fom an internet cafe situated 40 minutes from her flat.

- While she was at home in her bed she was also online at Elena's Models website. (She claims to have no computer at home)

- I once told her I had problems to call her. She answered she forgot her phone at grand mother's for three days. I cecked my billings and saw that during these three days we had two short phone conversations.

I hope that all this info will help the others not to fall into the trap and not to loose some months of time. I add three of her photos. I can add more info and letters if it appears to be necessary.

After having informed EM that Anna asked me once for money for airplane I received the reply that they will "follow up with the lady". In compensation they gave me some credits alowing me to contact other women on their website.

Here is Anna's letter asking money. It was written on October 31, 2007, just five days after we started our e-mail contact:

Moving to scammers section. There is enough info for that. It is a pity that EM didn't help you more. These are the unfortunate things that happen dealing with large agencies.

The Admin of EM suspended Anna's profile. Currently it says: "This profile was suspended by admin. We are checking on it."

At least that is something ..... Obviously we have no control over what is going on in the agencies, but suspending someone is a start. That's good news.

The girl(they) ask for a general topics, your opinion about love, nature beetwen cotidian life, that you provide the information that they use to other potential victims... maybe an answer that you send appears with a lady mail.
Be careful they want that you send photos too...

She almost got me as well. Only sent flowers once but nothing more. Definately not consistent in her stories and met on Elenas Models as well. Glad she is suspendedfrom there but sure she will move on!
