Hi All,
Well I am going to meet my girl in Lugansk at the end of the month.
I have not seen her in six months and we are engaged. I only saw her parents for about 5 minutes and I was rushing to go to work. Her Dad was cool but I could see the daggers coming from her moms eyes.
Nothing has been said but I would like to know what ,if any, would be a good gift for her or something to smooth things over?
What does anbody think about this?

Have you brought her parents any gifts?

Each time you visit bring something from your own country, like a Football Shirt for Dad and perfume for the Lady.

I know one chap who brought his girl friends Mom a washing machine - Mother really loved him afterwards, Yes he did buy in Russia.

The simple answer (which would probably be the reason there was no answer for so long) is that there's no right answer short of asking the girl herself what they'd like. Everyone is different. If we said to bring something, who's to say they won't hate it or already have one? The one person who can tell you what her parents would like is her.
