Hi KaKa...I agree with you, RBrides seems to be a hot bed. Having said that; I don't know if anyone else would agree, but if you look long enough and sift through the bull ****, you can sometimes find a "real" person. I have a regular pen pal that I found on that site a little more than a year ago. We write each other about twice a month, sometimes more sometimes less...well thats my two cents for what its worth.

Yes, you can usually find some real people even in the most infested internet dating site, just always remember if they are asking you to send them money for any reason it is a scam.
ANd I can not say this too many times

After spending money on a 6 month membership at rbrides (my fault ) emailing and receiving letters from over 400 ladies. The final conclusion : No one is real ! All fakes, scammers, and gold diggers ! Not one of the girls out of 400 were found real. That also goes for site2date also ! 0 out of 400 ! Unreal ! |

Smaller honest agencies are usually a much safer bet than networks and affiliates, those who make womens direct contact information available and often know the women personally. Exclude the agency early on should they not smell right, verify the woman actually exists by one of a variety of methods and be able to actually contact her on spec. |

You kind of know something is up with the very first contact also comes the email address. I joined just because I wanted to see how many of these women existed and how many scam solicitations I'd get. 28 first day and my profile didn't really say anything special about me and i didn't put my photo on it either. I did get one reply from 2 different profiles...dummy uses the same email address on both to contact her. Another asked for money right up front. And another did send me a picture of her mother who was also hot, lol. |

I agree to both yes and no. Thanks to this site (and Kaka, I believe), I have discovered one is a noted scammer, Natasha Mamaeva. She uses exactly the same email message she sent him.
I am cautious of responding to their "invites" because of the aforementioned encounter. Therefore, I am sifting out those who look real - the pictures, for one, should NOT be taken from a studio. I am also critical of how good some of their written english are - even better than yours and mine.
I speculate that these ladies also pay to register to sites like these and that rbrides are "cost-effective" vs. the more noted Elena's models. Therefore, there are indeed risks...
There are 2 friends whom I am currently communicating with. I hope that one of these (perhaps, both?) are real and fruitful.
Watch out folks and take good care of yourselves. |
