For those without the know. I have been very busy lately. I met a real woman on the internet. It started in June when she contacted me on friendfinder.com (most of the scammers that have contacted me have also used this site).

Her story started out like a lot of the scammers story. She is a 35 year old Chinese women currently living and working in Cambodia. She feel in love quickly and wanted to marry me, but right away there was a difference.

She wanted to follow the proper immagration sequence. She knows about the K-1 and the K-3 Visa. She knows what the Chinese government requires for a marriage to an American citizen. And she wanted me to come and visit her in China (one of the requirements of both the US and Chinese governments, and assumibly (for those looking for a Russian bride) one of the requirements of the Russian government)

I took a trip to China, meet the women of my dreams, and am now working through a lawyer on bringing her to the states.

If you really are looking for a foriegn women to be with it can happen, but also be aware of the scammers. Check out all the information they provide you. make sure they are e-mailing you from where they say they are. Remember, these women that are looking for husbands over the internet also have to be careful. Not only are scammers targeting men, there are wierdos targeting women.

Time for an update.

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On April 26, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this
I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the
notice.

Now I just have to wait for the postal service to get the official notice, talk to the lawyer and see what Jinyan and I need to do to proceed.

My fiancee has had her Visa approved and will be moving to America in December.

I met my wife on the internet too. June 2005 we met by chance in Yahoo. We chat for a few months and i finally invited her over in November. Finally I met a woman who never spoke about her hardships or grandmothers who broke their legs. Neither did she get ill not hit by a car. She was all out honest.
I sent her a 250 dollars for her fare and 500 as pocket money and in November she came on her first visit and I fetched her at the airport in Oslo.
She went back after 3 months and came back again 3 months later for another 3 months. Last year I went to Romania and we got married. A month later I went to Romania and took her home to Norway.

After many months of work and lot of time waiting, my fiancee has arrived in the states. We are busy, enjoying our time together, and learning more and more about each other, each and every day. I must say once again, for those really looking for a relationship with a foreign woman, it is well worth the time spent knowing the signs of a scammer and finding a real woman to share the rest of your life with.

Hey MIT61.
Many congratulations to you and your fiancee. It is such a relief when all the paperwork is done and you are finally together @ home. In the UK it is not a requirement to visit the other Country but able to financially support your gal is pretty high up there.

Actually, there is still paperwork to do, but yes, we are together. It is alot easier to work on this when we are not 13 time zones apart Very Happy

Yes, I wish every one luck when looking for real women on the internet. It sounds like you got off easy. Before I found my fiancee, I think it was 2 and 1/2 real women out of a 100. The 1/2 is because I still am not sure if one was a scammer, a pro-dater, or a real woman.
